Quantum Tech Staffing is looking for a SQL Developer for a contract position with one of our clients in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Required Skills:
Experience writing SQL queries
Database design and modeling expertise in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
Design and coding skills for report design warehousing using SQL Server Analysis Services tools
Visual SourceSafe for source code version and control
Experience with developing SQL code and stored procedures
Create and use reusable software components where possible
Experience with System Testing
Create content for operational documentation
Research problems independently and participate in ongoing process improvement.
Provide estimates for change requests
Ability to use Access and Excel for data analysis
Understanding of Cognos Reports
Experience and knowledge in supporting application system development life cycle.
Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
Ability to follow quality standards
Ability to work independently as well as a team environment
Strong communication skills; both written and spoken
Experience using MS Office
