Description:
The selected candidate in this position serves as a Java J2EE Programmer. The Programmer will work under the guidance of IT Managers, Application Developer Administrators, Senior Application Developers to gather requirements, design, code, test, and implement.
The programming language will be Java/J2EE running on IBM WebSphere. Some of the primary supporting tools are ClearCase, ClearQuest, Functional Tester, Manual Tester, and Performance Tester. The backend databases include IBM DB/2 on mainframe zOS, Oracle 11g, and SQL Server. Some of the other middleware products currently used are IBM Websphere MQ, and Message Broker.
Required / Desired Skills
Object Oriented Programming Experience. (Required 5 Years)
Java Enterprise Edition (experience with Eclipse and/or Rational Application Developer) (Required 8 Years)
Database Programming/SQL Experience with major DBMS (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) (Required 5 Years)
Web Services Experience (SOAP, RESTful) (Required 5 Years)
Hibernate Framework (Required 4 Years)
Superior oral and written communication skills. (Required 5 Years)
Java Certification (Highly Desired 1 Years)
Messaging Experience (MQ/JMS) (Highly Desired 1 Years)
