Production Supervisor, Flex-Shift

Planning, directing and coordinating production processes to obtain the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost consistent with GMPs;
Responsibility for department cost and expenses;
Requesting the services of maintenance or other necessary personnel to maintain or exceed the desired quality of production, sanitation, safety and warehouse services;
Keeping accurate and up to date records;
Enforcing company policies;
Encouraging employees to make suggestions which will improve production, quality, safety or cost controls of production;
Performing employee evaluations;
Encouraging team building and facilitating meetings;
Participating in internal, external or 3rd party audits;
Reporting to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety/quality or personnel safety.
EDUCATION: High School diploma required; 2-year post high school degree is a plus.
Experience:
2
years of supervisory experience in a food processing facility;
Strong, progressive leadership skills;
Proven ability to supervise, evaluate and develop employees;
Strong ability to teach awareness of safe work practices, policies and procedures;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
