Duration: 9 Months 10 Days - Contract

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr
Description:
The selected resource will be responsible for analysis and trouble shooting of an application on the AS/400 platform (CL, COBOL, Screen Design).
Although the contractor's primary responsibilities will be to monitor/maintain the system he/she will also work on other initiatives as time permits.
In addition, this contracted resource will be used to ensure operational coverage of the AS/400 applications during planned and approved absences greater than 2 weeks.
Required / Desired Skills
AS/400 Support Experience (Required 3 Years)
AS/400 COBOL Programming Experience (this is specific to COBOL programming experience on the AS/400, NOT mainframe COBOL) (Required 3 Years)
AS/400 Control Language (CL) experience (Required 3 Years)
AS/400 Database Management experience (Required 3 Years)
AS/400 Online Transaction Screen Design & Implementation experience (Required 3 Years)
Microsoft Excel (versions XP and Office 7) (Desired 2 Years)
Microsoft Office XP - Office 7 Suite (Desired 2 Years)
Outlook for email correspondence (Desired 2 Years)
MS Visual Basic 6 / Visual Basic 8 (Desired 2 Years)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
