Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to) ' Participates in planning, design, execution, and management of research projects in a application based laboratory setting investigating the role of infectious agents in disease ' Funded through a research grant from Health Department the position focuses on gathering data, analyzing data to provide early detection and help device detection methods for disease diagnosis.
' Processes specimens, keeps inventory and detailed records ' Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications ' Master' s degree or Bachelor' s degree in biological science or related field with advanced courses or certificates in biotechnology or bioinformatics.
' Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
' Prior Lab Experience strongly desired.
