Technical Specialist (Hybrid, Harrisburg PA)
Quick Apply Contract 3 hours ago Full Job Description We are currently looking for a Product Specialist for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity.
This position requires a set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization.
This contract position is long-term with current funding approved until 6/30/2023 (extensions likely, funding approved every 12 months), 40 hours per week role.
This is a Hybrid (Harrisburg, PA) role, preferred candidates would live within commutable distance to Harrisburg, PA.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee.

Responsibilities:
Analyzing data in PAsecureID and PIMS, determining students with duplicate or shared PAsecureIDs; and working to get IDs corrected.
Delivers support and design for industry-specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
Perform analysis, testing, and implementation in support of maintenance, enhancement, and development work for internal PDE applications that support core business functions.
Analyze, design, and code enhancements, development programs, and/or required fixes to production problems.
Work with application lead analyst to gather and interpret user requirements.
Design and develop prototypes based on user requirements.
Conduct adequate unit testing for all developed code.
Create content for program and operational documentation, including deployment and user manuals.
Support deployment of application releases into production, research problems independently, process open bugs, and correct technical errors.
Requirements:
3 to 5 relevant years of experience as a Product Specialist.
4 years college degree or equivalent technical study.
Design and develop prototypes based on user requirements.
Conduct adequate unit testing for all developed code.
Create content for program and operational documentation, including deployment and user manuals.
Possess ability to work in a team environment.
