The Research Clerk provides support to the Facets processing areas by routing Image claims to specific areas, completing set-ups, distributing and retrieval of hard-copies, researching and correcting member information on electronic claims in the Facets XC Database, completing letters to providers/subscribers on returned claims, verifying OCR claims, Act 81 enrollments.
Responsibilities and
Qualifications:
TASK DESCRIPTIONS (30%) Verify claim batches through the OCR process.
(30%) Research and correct member information on electronic claims in the Facets XC Database.
(5%) Forwards documents from the Facet Claim Areas to other lines of business within CBC for claim consideration.
(5%) Routes misdirected workflow claims to appropriate image queues for processing.
(15%) Retrieves claims via the Image system, prints claims, and deletes from workflow.
(15%) Proofreads, copies, and mails returned letters with attached claims to members and providers on claims not able to be processed within CBC.
JOB REQUIREMENTS A high school diploma or GED.
Familiarity with proper business telephone etiquette.
Ability to operate a personal computer in a windows environment.
Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to communicate properly with department personnel to ensure accurate and efficient resolution of mis-routes.
Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and adjust priorities based on workflow.
Prefer knowledge of Image system, Facets and Microsoft products About Us:
