Provide market intelligence expertise, monitor, track, research and analyze market/competitor/industry data including threats and trends, synthesize findings in a variety of document types and formats that define impacts to the business and provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision making for various stakeholders and lines of business.
Develop a CI roadmap, create and manage a CI data repository for use by internal stakeholders, and prepare and maintain comprehensive competitor profiles and other deliverables.
Create and support the presentation of environmental and market scan information to the Board (twice yearly), the Executive Leadership Team (eight times/year), and other internal stakeholders on a periodic basis.
Strengthen Capital Blue Cross' competitive position in market by supporting the development of our product portfolio through benefit research and analysis.
Serve as a liaison to the Blues Intelligence Group and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) Competitive Intelligence workgroup and develop and maintain CI relationships at other Blue Plans.
Manage relationships with vendors used for competitive intelligence functions, evaluating their effectiveness and making recommendations toward corporate competitive intelligence goals.
Perform other duties as requested to support the Corporate Strategy unit, including writing content for various company projects and initiatives.

Knowledge of health insurance industry and healthcare delivery systems including health plan products and services.
Experience:
3 years of proven experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
Knowledge of and experience with competitive / marketplace research tools and analytics.
Demonstrated experience in leading and/or coordinating major projects.
Experience translating complex concepts to be understood by a variety of audiences.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in a group to meet changing needs of a competitive market/environment.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or other related field.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position requiring the employee to come on-site to the office 4-5 days/per month.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, and see.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
