Job DescriptionThis is a Field territory opportunity & the ideal candidates can be seated in Youngstown, OH to Pittsburgh and Erie, PA.
Job SummaryThis role utilizes analytical skills to create a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper dispositionEstimates are completed via physical inspection or virtually (photo estimates).
Key
Responsibilities:
Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage lossesProcesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the companyNegotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limitsApplies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practicesBuilds established relationships with both internal and external customersSupervisory

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience2 or more years of related experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses as requiredPennsylvania Appraiser License RequiredFunctional Skills Possess knowledge of estimatics software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.
)Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to operate electronic devices including computers, cameras and cell phonesStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective skills in time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure,Ability to adhere to project deadlines and remain flexible in a changing environment#LI-MP1 National General prides itself on offering our employees a robust Total Rewards package which includes base salaryThe base range offered for the role is:
$52,500 - $86,000 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factorsOther financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
