Quantum Tech Staffing is looking for an Access Programmer for a contract position with one of our clients in Harrisburg, PA.
Contracted support is needed to provide research, analysis, development, testing, documenting, and deployment functions for various Access database systems and associated reports. Contractor will also assist in the development of a new Tracking System which will eventually eliminate a lot of the current Access systems.
The contractors responsibilities will be to:
-- Provide software development and phone support of Access systems to keep them up and running.
-- Conduct knowledge transfer activities with designated staff to keep these Access systems running and functional.
-- Assist in the coding of new Tracking System
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED
1. Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Assist in the development of the new Tracking System web project.
3. Phone and development support of Access systems.
4. Engage in knowledge-transfer activities with Tracking System users and administrative staff which includes; analysis, modification, testing, and deployment of enhanced system to relieve immediate crisis.
5. Provide status reports and updates as required to designated Project Manager and supervisor.
The contractor MAY also be required to travel to various client sites as necessary to assess and observe system issues as they arise as well as conduct deployment/training activities. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Quantum Tech Staffing is an EOE.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
