The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) is currently recruiting individuals to apply for the Human Services Program Trainee job title, which will be open for application through the PA State Civil Service Commission between May 28 and June 14, 2014.
Nature of Work
You will participate in a structured, year-long training program designed to prepare you to work in a specific program area within the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences; or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Note: You may take the test if you have completed 90 or more credit hours and expect to receive a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences within the next 7 months. You must provide proof of your degree before you start work.
PA residency is required.
Location
The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare expects to fill approximately 12-15 positions located in Dauphin County. They expect to begin a training class on September 2, 2014.

Starting Salary
$38,709 annually
