Leading and educating all levels and functions in CI/Lean principles and concepts;
Working with site leadership teams to identify and lead continuous improvement projects or activities;
Designing, implementing and championing new Lean strategies and program elements to keep pace with growth and business changes;
Developing and providing CI/Lean training on site;
Mentoring plant leaders and project teams to facilitate culture change;
This position reports to the Director of Strategy and Integration.
Education: 4-year degree required; Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
Required Skills:
3
years of experience in food or CPG manufacturing;
Strong engineering and lean manufacturing background;
Experience in the implementation and sustaining of CI programs, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and Total Productive Manufacturing (maintenance);
Cost accounting, production data collection and production scheduling;
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make decisions;
Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, SAP;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
